The Pilates Comprehensive Certification is a blended learning course that is designed to deliver the highest quality authentic Pilates education. It is the foundational level of Pilates professional education which covers the mat. The Comprehensive Certification is a classical Pilates education program distinguished by an emphasis on Pilates as an integrated movement system as Joseph Pilates intended.

Overview

The Pilates course provides the highest quality internationally recognised Pilates certificate education. Uniform training standards and our Teaching Tools provide an essential blueprint for students to reach their full potential. These tools address the anatomical foundations, ideal and alternative movements, and specific verbal and sensory cues to provide the student with a thorough teaching foundation. 

After completion, you Will Be able to:

- Psychological considerations and motivating clients
- Social considerations and creating a welcoming environment
- Client enrolment and assessment processes
- Pilates history and development, including Joseph Pilates and 'First Generation' teachers
- Pilates principles and their application in class
- Original Pilates exercises and their performance
- Functional anatomy, including muscles, cardiorespiratory system, and nervous & endocrine systems
- Adaptations to exercise and considerations for clients' limitations
- Nutrition and its impact on clients' exercise performance
- Program design, delivery, and building a professional client relationship

Spring Timetable

The course runs for 11 weeks in total and it's set up on alternate weeks. Here are the details:

Practical Sessions Available in Swords, Tallaght)
📅 Saturday Sessions: st March, 15th March, 29th March, 12th April, 26th April - 10am - 4:30pm


📅 Online Theory Exam: 3rd May


📅 Final Assessment: 10th May in Person - 10am-4:30pm

Plus, you'll have access to all the online theory content, which you can work through at your own pace on the alternating weeks over the duration.
